COUPLES THERAPY WITH VIDEO WORK

How it works

Couples therapy with me follows a simple rhythm - real sessions, supported by short videos that help the work continue between them. Here's what that looks like from your first step to ongoing sessions.

Step 1 — A short questionnaire

Before we meet, you'll fill out a brief questionnaire - just one page - so I can get a sense of where you're both starting from.

Step 2 - A few videos to prepare

Based on your answers, I'll send you a few videos to watch before your first session - sometimes just one or two, sometimes more, depending on what would be most useful for you. They help you arrive already thinking about what matters most to you.

Step 3 - An initial session

The initial session is an hour and a half in total- the first thirty minutes of which are free. There's no obligation to commit - it's simply a chance to talk, ask questions, and see if this feels like the right fit for you both.

Step 4 - Sessions with a theme

From there, we meet for regular, hour long sessions. Each one tends to centre on a particular theme, so the work stays focused.

I ask couples to initially commit to six sessions, giving the work enough time to move past the surface and into what's really going on.

Step 5 - Videos between sessions

After each session, I'll suggest a few videos to watch together before we next meet. They help cement what came up, reinforce the learning, and sometimes take it a little further than we had time for in the room.
